Q: Can you hand the kami off to someone else? ie Hiro catches it, but want's to give it to Yoshio.
In terms of feedback, my earlier comment about VP's came true. The guy caught the Kami on Turn 5, but the game ended, thus didn't get his VP as it isn't added till the Ki Phase of the next turn. Technically that would have resulted in a draw as we had both held the kami for 1 turn, I caught it first, he was holding it at the end ofthe game.
Oh heck yes, I spent the first 2 turns trying to grab it before it got away and flew over the ranks of Ryu, where he had 2 people trying to catch it. I got my VP's in the first couple of turns, my opponent got his in the last couple.
Probably worth mentioning I'm only using starter sets for this, so 5-7 models a side. With 2-3 holding off the enemy that only leaves 2-3 to try to catch it.

Good Questions,
Q1; i would rule, no becoming prone causes you to drop the Kami (i'll amend the PDF)
Q2; I would say the player needs to try and catch it, success place the Kami Marker on the models profile card and failure Kami scatters.
Regarding the outcome, 1 -1 Draw, dont want to make it too easy to win but playing for the scenario is the best situation. If people dont like scenarios play "Kill everything" although the game is better when a scenario is played.

Just found the new scenario rules and don't like the Catch the Kami mods as there is no incentive in going for it early due to the low chance of capture and high chance of escape. Looks like the first three turns will just be a brawl with the victor then picking the Kami up.
Aye, it does seem to turn out that way in our playtesting of the scenario... that Kami is pretty slippery. :) That said, however, people did enjoy playing the scenario. :)
Another demo, more questions.
Q: Can a prone model hold onto the Kami?

"what color did you use, red with a black wash?"
Scenario has been changed to reflect players' feedback. Have a look and let us know what you think of the changes.
Shortly there will be versions of the two player designed scenarios Ret-Deathjesters "Entrances" and Greeny's "Offerings" for download and feedback.

The changes, scenarios and set up are all looking good.
