Now I know from the card small rats swarms can't be knocked down but this isn't on the large rat swarm card. Surely this was an oversight a rat swarm no matter the size shouldn't be able to be knocked prone, should it??
I guess the "Steady" talent on the card means no knockdown. Its not in the QSR yet.
Not the best name choice (because Unsteady talent has to do with terrain).
I think when a new model gets a new talent for the first time its explanation should be printed on its card.
There is no rulebook for quick reference yet, and you have to go online and check to QSR first (rat swarms durable, Hotarus fire) to identify the models cards.
"Cant be knocked down", has been changed to Steady as its shorter and still tells you what the trait does.
Keeping the traits online and not on the cards was a decision based on the fact that if people dont have the card explaining the trait, Sharp for example then they need to look in the QSR anyway.
"To a real warrior, power perceived may be power achieved."
Yesterday I bought the big swarm rats and I have some doubts with the durable trait. It sais that models with this trait can't get multiples wounds, they get just one. It means that once the swarm rats loses a melee and the oponent rolls the die, let's imagine he gets 5 wounds to the swarm rats. Then the swarm rats will just get 1 wound???
What about attacks that remove the oponent directly from play (like Hiro's attack)?
One wound per attack, yes. So you will need at least 4 hits.
When the attack does not do damage, you cant reduce it to one damage. Similar to any other stuff triggering on damage (like last stand). I guess the swarm is just gone.
Same for Wakas Splat trigger. Even its more believable to squish the rats under a big stone immediately than see Hiro flurry around to behead everyone of hundreds of rats...
Just a simple question. I noticed that the Rat Swarm card doesn't have the "rat" trait. Is it supposed to be like that? Since he gets healed by Nezumi's rats, it makes sense he should get the extra dice from coordinated attack when attacking alongside the big Rat Swarm.
Probably you already explained it in some other post, but ithought it would be nice to have it cleared in this one.
Yes, the Rat Swarm may sacrifice Small Rat Swarms btb to heal itself, so it'd make sense if the Rat Swarm (the big one) had the "Rat" trait.

Any spoilers about more "Rat"-ish creeps for the Cult? Are you thinking about giving the option to make thematic lists in the cult (kairai horde, rat swarm, burakumin covenant, etc.)?
And what is my big metallic buddy waiting for to step out and shine?

Are you asking about the small rat swarm or the eat swarm? As you infer both?
