The Dakurotasu Syndicate (Dark Lotus)
A Yakuza crime family that brings a deceptive underhanded force to Bushido
Starter Force
- Ushitora Tono: Yakuza crime boss (Oyabun), some kind of close range Bribe ability to temporarily control an enemy or just exhaust them. Based on a Ki Test.
- Namigoro the giant: Large Body guard (Yojimbo), able to change place with Ushitora as a bodyguard action, a knockback ability, armed with a Tonfa.
- Isuzu, Geisha: An assassin with poison blades, and a seduction ability. (lacks the mobility and prowess of the Bikou to differentiate)
- Unosuke, Street Thug: Sling and wakizashi (weak ranged attack but can fall back afterwards)
- Eijiro, Street Thug: Sling and club (moderate ranged attack)
Additional waves
- Homma, Boy-thief: very mobile figure with some thieving ability and distract ability.
- Some Opium dealer with an aura that penalises enemies, maybe grants some kind of pain resistance or fearlessness to nearby allies.
- Ubo, Enslaved Ogre: Huge muscular brute
- Maybe some extra thugs?
Its a concept, something I wouldn't mind in the future, but what do you think?

nice idea, I believe the crime syndicate of the Jwar isles is the 'Silver Moon Kumi' from the hints dropped in the various stories (the gengo story 'the treat' in particular) so I'd bet GCT already have something like this in mind, so they may be looking at your ideas about models within it:)

The Silvermoon Trade Syndicate are a group of merchants who rule in the Free City of Jima. They have many interests across the Jwar Isles and are a peaceful and noble group who only interest is the continued and lasting properity of Islands, and being able to bring small comforts to the common man and women so as that there lives are that little bit easier.
We have lots of background and history to flesh out and expand the Jwar Isles, from the Iron Mountains in the West to the Spice Islands in the South, across to Jima in the East, and the North? Well thats a whole different story.
Interesting to see your ideas though :)

sound an awful lot like legitimate businessmen to me...

Exactly, cruel whispers cast then in shadow. When all they want is to bring a little light to people.
"To a real warrior, power perceived may be power achieved."
And they only ask what is fair for their efforts... with an 999% interest of course...
bunch of black marketers ...
Very interesting idea MInstrel! Some underhanded group could be fun to fight against.
Also known as Astraeos on Warseer!
