Magnets?

I don't have this figure (yet), but that is really cool - is there much metal for his hands to imbed a magnet?

Yep. I used these http://www.kjmagnetics.com/proddetail.asp?prod=D21. His hands were way thick enough to house the magnets and remain stable enought to hold it up.

The head is very topheavy in the given position.

I used 3mm neodym magnets and they are hold tight enough for normal play. As long you dont shake Waka...
