Hi- I finished my first starter set- The Savage Wave, and if you'll forgive my poor photography skills I'll post them-

Zuba
Bakemono
More Bakemono (There's always more Bakemono...)
Group shot
Another Group shot
The bases aren't quite finished, they're designed around a temple garden (I'm building a oard themed around one) so stepping stones, bridges etc, can't seem to quite make them look finished though if anyone has any ideas? (reeds possibly, or an Acer if I'm feeling clever...?)
Thanks
MIck

Looks sweet. pretty cool sounding table idea as well.

Awesome!!! Great job mate! I specially like Zuba's base ^_^
ok so I finished mowing the lawn, put the washing out and my other manly chores for the day, so I had time for a little painting- here's the finished Wu Zang, taking part in some extreme sports:)
I like this peice of craziness so much I'm thinking I want to use my Wave in the North Kingdoms tournament, so next Is Bobata and his swinging bell:)

A bat mobile Wu Zang!

Really like your basing, especially Zuba's bridge. Your painting is very crisp and clean, nicely done.
Wu Zang is great, really ties in with the trapper bakemono.

That Wu-Zang is pretty awesome. I'm sure Tra-Peng is jealous of that bat. :p

Amazing... but HOW does he not tip over???
Cheers, theres a 2p on the base, and the foil and green stuff bat is very light:)

Brilliant. I can see quite a few people doing double takes with that one. It makes him really stick out, not just from being so far from the original, but also how it doesn't fall over. Gave me this whole "Something is off, but what could it be"-feeling until someone peeked over my shoulder and asked how it doesn't topple over, hehe
hello again- finished big Bobbo, had fun with this guy, so much so I actually managed to break my 2 hour limit!
I'm actually happy with how he came out, which is rare for me!

Those are some really nice figures, making me excited to get my Savage Wave soon - Wu Zang looks very cool but its Bobata who looks absolutely menacing :)
Is Zuba's bridge made of putty / greenstuff?
"Have you forgotten? Aku Soku Zan... To Slay evil immediately was the justice shared by the Shinsengumi and the Manslayer. I cannot stand seeing you like this anymore… "
the bridge is recycled library cards cut to shape:) thanks for the comments! Waka just arrived!

Look awesome!
Funnily enough I just assembled my kimono ushi standing on a pier / jetty a couple days ago too.
And what's that you've sculpted onto Tra'pengs base?
the double waka withthe empty hands afte launc the big head look amazing... why dont you green stuff some legs sticking out from under the head...
Thanks both:) I was soo tempted to do squish someone under the head! you may have tipped the balance... Tra-peng is standing on a giant turtle in a net, just to annoy Rudders really...

Okay, now time for the drummer and Waka (and his twin brother)

Mick, that's a really, really great Waka there. The pose he has after throwing the head - perfect.
The drummer trio is also great, but I have to stop looking at Waka to appreciate them!
Hope that arm gets better soon! I want to see Nian!
I follow the rules of bushido. I am a bushi.
Some nice work there fella!
The end is but a new beginning
NIan! I have for the first time actually caught up with my Savage Wave! got the Nian done last night, went for a simpler base this time, apologies to Mr Gil for my shameless attempt to copy his eye:)
Enjoyed painting this, especially the rusty chain bizarrely, and where the rust is rubbing off on its neck:)

Waaaa, very nice.
Efficient and unusually paint choice. Quite distirbing as well: well done!
How did you make the water projections?
I can only say: Awesome!
Great paint scheme, it looks tiger-scary!
And very nice rust!

I have finished my Slave, but he needs a little explanation- firstly I completely screwed up pinning a new spear shaft for him after i snapped his filing it, and so had to use replacement hands, which are a bit sausage fingers, so i bulked up his wrist with some furry wraps to make it less obvious. secondly the paint scheme, I'm continuing the south pacific vibe I started on the Slaver (he is his property after all) and one of my staff members had this photo from Papau New Guinea pinned to the wall of the kitchen for the past year, and I felt inspired:-
it fits with my red/white/black scheme, and looks very unique, so I gave it a go, and here he is, usual caveat for my inability to take photographs:)
