wow, great stuff! I particularly like the mid-dark blue scheme for the villagers, and Ikiryo's virginal appearance... not too keen on the 'joker' makeup effect, if that's what you were going for, but only because I see here as very evil rather than very mad and evil being a by-product ;-)
EDIT: Extra points for the masks on Kato, which are particularly creepy!
On Ikiryo, it probably hasn't come out too well in the pics, but I was trying to get a light pink blush sort of look on her cheeks, like a lot of Geisha have. I agree that it doesn't look right, and might try whiting that out. the red of her eyes and lips is probably enough colour offset. I really wanted to keep her very white and black, with splash's of colour from the flowers and the bit of purple on her under dress to tie her in with the whole faction.

Nice I like the look of those, the colours all fit well together. Nice freehand on the kimono though its a little bright, could do with some toning down.
Generally Speaking, The Way of the warrior is resolute acceptance of Death.
They're looking good so they are, like the colour scheme and it's a good paint job. I've got to admit like rogue I'm not keen on the make up on the kairai ashigaru mask. The detailing on the sashimono is really good, did you freehand it?

Great work, and fast. I think the Geisha kimono and umbrella looks great, as does Kato's attendant spirit. cool back banner (the little details impress me), and I like the crow on the naginata butt. Nice variety in the basing.
Very nice work. Good choice of colour scheme. I like the detailing with the flowers on the kimono. Got to respect the patience and the steady hand required for that.

Suitably awesome looking crew. Agree though that the Geisha kimono could do with a tadge toning down, but awesome non the less.
I was fantastic! And it was a bloody good laugh!

Exactly way i was goona go with geisha - great stuff
This act of aggression must be met with swift and cruel ferocity, it is time to cry "havoc" and let slip the dogs of war
They look great! The work on Kato looks good. The ghost is particularly good as is your freehand work, it's very sharp.
BTW does the Ashigaru's back banner say anything?
Warning: May become grumpy when drunk
Thanks.
@Lupus & Deathjester. I actually wanted the flowers to be bright on the kimono. To me it offsets the black and white well, and makes the model pop.
@Mecha Ace. Yes they are all done free hand. Getting the white done right on the kimono took a lot longer than painting all the flowers.
@Corpsesmith. Yeah the back banner actually says Fear, Terror... according to a google search anyway.

Been a while, but finally got around to painting some more of my cult for the campaign Dave's running.
The pictures aren't the best, as I can't find the charger for the good camera since we moved.

Nice paint jobs. Its the bases i like the most, good mixture of colours and textures.

Never get bored at looking at your figs. This year so far has been a bust for me painting wise but it certainly inspired looking at your figs
