I'm in! Ticket bought yesterday. I'm most likely bringing Silvermoon rather than my beloved Temple mostly because it was unrepresented at Mr Stu's plus they're new to me - of course I've got to paint them first!

Good point, I'd better get painting my cult list. By the way some of my models are modded, as you know, hope that is ok?

I need to learn to play them first and I'm not sure I've got enough of the right kind of models to be competitive but I don't care!

Same situation as me then, hoping to figure out how best to use what I've designed at the tournie to get better with my model placement and understanding of their rules, strengths and weaknesses. Just need to make sure I complete my turns quickly.

Having seen yourmodels, Axiam, I think they're fine. Ensure your opponent is aware prior to th game.

Same Axiam, need to complete my turns quicker but need to learn how to get the best out of what I have more!

as to the modded minis, I think it says somewhere as long as the model is clearly who it's meant to be then it's fine. I personally don't mind as I love seeing what people do with conversions etc.

A note on errata for the event:
We are expecting an official document to drop early 2017. In the event of it being delayed, I will be making any generally-agreed (by retainers) RAI fixes and RAW clarifications known for this event as far in advance as possible. These will not be up for discussion.

If the official document drops after I do this, and differs significantly in a way which I think could affect warband selections, that will be used instead, provided it isn't too close to the event.

My apologies for not updating until now. I'm hoping the errata drops any day now. Once it does, I'll have the scenarios picked and will let everyone know.

Anyone who is planning to attend: please buy your tickets ASAP. If I don't have at least 8 confirmed by the end of February, I'll have to cancel the event, which will make me sad.

Morning Lonit. There are spaces still available. There was 12 that turned up last time and this time myself and my friend Andy are coming down so hopefully there will be more this time.

Tournaments can have as many as 32 players, although I do not think that has happened yet and  a minimum of 8 is required.

So come along and join us

32 would cause some problems with boards and scenery!

We'll get 8 minimum, hoping for 12. Slots absolutely still available (people are quick to say yes, slow to buy tickets!).

Hypothetically would people have issues with someone who hasn't played the game at all?

Hey. You're welcome to come along with no games under your belt. Everyone coming is a good sportsman and you'll have a good time, though the learning curve may be a little steep. I don't live far from you, only a 15-minute drive, so I'm sure we could arrange an intro sometime in the next 3 weeks! If you can get over to the club via the ferry on a Tuesday night, we'll be having some warm-up games prior to the event.

I would help a newbie if i was playing him/her as I am sure everyone else would. Games are time limited though so we would speed things along

Also bring a cheat sheet. Write down/type your figures traits with their explanations for quick reference. If you message me via facebook, you'll find me on the group, I can easily do you a word doc for you as I have already converted the pdf to doc just for this reason

Konnichiwa, noble samurai.
Please submit your lists by nightfall this Sunday evening, 5th March, lest you be declared ronin and your families fall to disgrace in the eyes of the shogunate.

Submitted my list. I've tried it once and it was let down by poor play more than it let me down by being bad so it's probably fine indecision

Today is the day for list submissions! Thanks to all those who have submitted already.
Gentle reminder for those listed below:

Simon Crafter
Ed Kichenside
Stuart Witcombe
Luke Ashworth
Paul Looker
Graham Mould

This gives me the opportunity to check your lists and give you plenty of time to make changes, if necessary. This is particularly important with some of the themes, especially the new one in the tournament pack.
As soon as I have all lists submitted and amended, I'll announce the factions attending :)

I'm waiting for a few of amendments, all due to the new theme, and then I'll post the factions :)

I'm bringing STS because I thought they wouldn't be represented, if I'd have known I would have brought my beloved Temple. Or even the Jung.

Never mind, bring on the gangsters!!

Cheers, Gobbo. Been a sort of psuedo-retainer for a while :)

There will be photos, Atrus. How many depends on whether or not I have to play to make even numbers :) I'll also be recording a video of the final top-table game.

I have enough 4" zones for everyone, and some 30mm small objectives I can lend, but can everyone please try to bring their own 50mm large objective, as I'm a little short on those!

Apologies for my silence this last week, I had a weird allergic reaction to something and haven’t been on top of my game.
Everything’s set for tomorrow. I collected a couple of extra boards last night and have finished a few new pieces of terrain. Best painted will receive a set of one of those pieces of scenery to put together themselves. Medals for podium finishers haven’t arrived yet, so I’ll be posting those to the winners after the event. No need to worry about your tournament sheets – I will provide some.
For those driving down, there is free parking behind the venue. You may need to enter your registration at the bar to avoid a fine though!
