Nezumi question

Deleted my old thread asking about Free feats as it made very little sense :P

What i was basically trying to ask was..

Earlier you said that the Wrath can spend its Ki on a free feat in response to a trigger thus avoiding the trigger going off because the wrath is now dead.

Can Nezumi do the same thing with his Free feat to transform into a rat swarm?

And if so does the decapitate kill the swarm or just not trigger at all?

Ok, the Wrath is removed from play but the Trigger still triggers its just that the Wrath is removed and so it cant be slammed etc.

Yes you can change into the Rat Swarm as a Free action but the effects would be applied to the Rat Swarm you cant avoid the damage by switching forms.

Before it comes up in a game:

At what exact point can nezumi change?

He can clearly change after dice have been rolled.

Presumably he can change after his own attack, but before his opponents.

Can he also change after seeing the results of his opponents wound roll?

Incidently, it seems pretty powerful to be able to be able to go all 4 dice in offence, then vanish before being struck back, leaving an insignificant rat to take the hit.

Ok, seems i miss read the question.

After dice have been rolled you cant then affect the dice rolled unless specifically instructed on a card.

So no you cannot change in reaction to a wound roll or failure to defend etc. In future the Rat Swarm and Nezumi will be reworded to clearly state that he can change at the Beginning of his action or at the End.

Currently however, he can change before being attacked?

Ie,

He CAN do this:

Nezumi is charged by Enemy A, nezumi changes into a rat, the right fights the combat.

He CANT do this:

Nezumi fights enemy A, rolls the dice, then turns into a rat to avoid being hurt.

Is that correct?

He cant do either as its a Free/Active Feat, meaning his controller needs to be the active player.

So nezumi Can only change when he is the active model?

Free feat active is when ur the active player is it not?

so activating nezumi to use his free feat isn't required unless you are changing that?

in which case is it just nezumis feat or all free actives?

do the same restrictions apply to the Wrath meaning it cannot use its feat to die thus prevending the sumos triggered effects?

The clarification is to Nezumi's or the Kitsune's Feat "Transform".

You can't walk out of B2B, so at best the move it feat will let a model walk round a model while staying in B2B...

you can't move out of combat because when in btb u aren't allowed to do a move action, you can do a melee attack and use the move part to move around a models base, however "Move It" is not a move action its a feat that allows u to move.
