Has anyone tried an all Oni force? Maybe something like Zuba, Waka and Bobata (which I think would be 35 rice)? Or are Bakemono essential to avoid outnumbering and the like?
Onis are bad in defense (except Kemono), very bad. Cumbersome weapons, outnumbering and exhausted states and they are down to 1 or less Cb.
When enemies dont catch fear, they can be tied up forever with an Ashigaru and the healer in the back. And Hiro just sharpes his sword, joins and Oni gone.
The Sumo doesnt have problems to bowl them around, making them not dead but useless.
If you face Ekusa, 2 of the 3 Onis have a good chance to sleep each turn.
All in all, if you dont face strong defenders, some of the mentioned models, stuff with sharp weapons... it may work if you can use them agressivly, charge in and smash a good part of the enemies forces before they start to tire you down.
In my experience it works better in at 50pts as you can add in Kemono and Ushi, takes a lot of pressure of Zuba and opens him or Kemono to be your main aggressor or to sit back with either and control the board as both have Tactician, Ushi has Obey and Dominate, and Zuba has the Quake Strike.
With the Nian in Wave 7 it'll get even more interesting :)

Master T rocked an all oni force at jwardiff, it looked pretty brutal, though he struggled in places:)
Never tell me the odds: Han Solo;)

I'm still tempted to try it... I've probably seen too many Godzilla films.
